HE Reverend Daren K. Williams was consecrated Bishop at a 3 pm ceremony Saturday February 3, 2007, at St. Mary of the Angels Anglican Church in Los Angeles, California, being the Feast of Saint Blase. The Right Reverend George Langberg, President of the House of Bishops and Ordinary of the Diocese of the Northeast, as Principal Consecrator along with Co-Consecrators The Right Reverend James Gordon Steward, Sr, retiring Ordinary of the Diocese of the West, The Right Reverend Louis Campese, Ordinary of the Diocese of the Eastern United States, and The Right Reverend David Lloyd Moyer, SSC, Bishop of the Armed Forces and the Traditional Anglican Communion Episcopal Visitor to Great Britain, consecrated Daren Keith Williams Bishop and then instituted, invested, inducted and enthroned Bishop Williams as the fourth Ordinary of the Diocese of the West. The Bishop-elect was attended by The Reverend Mr. Erik Routh and The Reverend Mr. John Yeager as his Deacons. The Right Reverend David Lloyd Moyer, CSS, preached and The Very Reverend Mark D. Lillegard was Precentor of the Consecration Litany.

Bishop Williams celebrated the Mass with The Reverend Canon William D. Bower, SSC, as Deacon and The Reverend Scott Edward Kingsbury as Subdeacon. The Reverend Eugene Beau Davis, SSC, acting Rector of St. Mary's, was Chaplain and the Celebrants Master of Ceremonies. The service music was the 1940 Hymnal Fourth Communion Service, also knows as the Traditional or Missa Marialis setting.

Assisting in the consecration was The Rt. Reverend Richard J. Boyce of the Anglican Province of America.

A reception following the Consecration was hosted at the St. Mary undercroft by All Saints Anglican Church, Fountain Valley, California, where Bishop Williams is Rector.
