The Bishop's Standing Committee and the Board of Examining Chaplains meet before the Retreat and Clericus follows the Retreat. Clericus is a meeting of the Diocese Bishop, priests and deacons. The churches and missions which are part of the Anglican Church in America, itself a part of the International Traditional Anglican Communion, are "formal but friendly." The services are based on the first official prayer book in English which was based on the established practice of religion and liturgy of Salisbury and known as the Sarum Usage. Today we use the 1928 American Book of Common Prayer.
